As a client member of MFCR, you will be provided the following services:
- Build your capacity to understand your rights and responsibilities as a consumer to avoid being abused by products and services providers.
- Provide opportunity to engage government and products and service providers to ensure that your rights as a consumer are protected.
- Intervene on your behalf when you as a consumer are harassed, intimidated, abused, neglected, discriminated on any basis, cheated or short-changed, injured from the use of products or services provided by the government, business or individual to you, and deception by government, and products and service providers.
- Provide instant place to formally lay your complaints before, during or after your rights have been abused for quick resolution.
- Mediate free of charge between our member and the subject of the complaint for immediate resolution of the matter.
- Provide pro bono legal representation to assist the member when seeking redress for any injustice.
Membership Application Process
- Complete you application online and pay membership fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (=N=20,000.00) for financial members. Your membership fee is good for one year. Instalment payment can be arranged for those who cannot afford to pay the annual dues once.
- Each client member shall be assigned membership Identification Number. The Membership Identity Number will facilitate quick access to member databank and response to members request(s).
- Members shall be designated as either financial (those who paid registration fees) or non-financial (those who did not pay registration fees).
